I think that this article is crazy! I cannot believe that the restaurant kicked them out after they have waited 2 hours. Even though they are black, they are still people and that is not fair.

"I Have a Dream" assignment 8/29/13

"I have a dream that one day that little black boys and girls will be holding hands with little white boys and girls."

1. I think that Martin Luther King is meaning that the negros will finally be free and be able to be together with white people. Black and white kids would be able to play on the playground together and be able to go to school together.

2. It was relevant for the time period because the blacks were not able to be with white people. The blacks were not freed at the time and did not have equal rights.

1. All men are created equal.
2. His children will live in a country where they will not be judged by the color of their skin.
3. Black girls and boys will be able to join hands with white boys and girls.
4. They will be able to work together, pray together, go to jail together, be freed together.
5. To let freedom ring from every city and states.
6. They will be able to join hands and say "free at last"
7. We have been issued a band check.
8. We refuse that the bank of justice is bankrupt.
9. They cant thirst for freedom by bitterness and hatred.
10. They waited 100 years for something to happen/to be free.

1. I think that they should be tried as adults because they are 16 years old, they know better than to do that especially to an 88 year old man.

2. I think their identity should stay disclosed because it is really nobody elses business who did it besides their family.

3. Teaching kids how important it is to respect our veterans.
